ZZ Midori

ZZ Midori, botanically known as Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Midori’, also known by the cultivar name ‘ZAM202201’, is a compact, slow growing ZZ Plant selected for its dense, upright habit and beautifully glossy foliage. Its thick, dark green leaflets are broader, rounder, and more closely spaced than those of many standard ZZ varieties, giving the plant an especially full and polished appearance. ZZ Midori naturally forms compact clumps, with sturdy stems and oval shaped leaflets that point upward to create a tidy architectural silhouette. Discovered in the Netherlands in 2020, this distinctive cultivar stays relatively compact while producing offsets freely, making it an excellent choice for desks, shelves, smaller interiors, and collectors looking for a refined variation on the classic ZZ Plant.
