Even the pick guard on this guitar is a triple bound piece of ebony, all of which is tied together with multi ply ivoroid binding. The serial number suggests this may be the 2nd guitar issued in the AU series. Finished in Eastman’s striking “Classic” translucent red lacquer, complemented by ebony and gold plated hardware, this is a refined instrument that looks every bit as impressive as it sounds. A single floating hum bucker, with discreet volume control mounted beneath the pickguard preserves the guitar’s acoustic resonance while delivering rich, woody amplified tones.
