Our fourth vintage from this renowned vineyard in California’s central coast region, continues to startle us with it’s Syrah pedigree, revealing complex earth tones, dark fruit, and supple-textured tannins. Covenant Founding Winemaker Jeff Morgan says, “I’ve always wanted to make wine from Bien Nacido Vineyard. Our parcel is high on the hill, from where you can see for miles in every direction. Afternoon winds blow in from the Pacific Ocean at a brisk pace, keeping temperatures moderate, yet warm enough to promote thorough ripening. It’s an impressive wine from an impressive place.” This is a big, lush, voluptuous wine.
