Region: Loire, France Grape: Cabernet Franc Organic: Yes Vegan: Yes Low Sulphur: Yes M Plouzeau is an historic Chinon domaine with 30 hectares of vines at the heart of the appellation on the left bank of the Loire. The Château de la Bonnelière around which the vineyards are planted has been in the Plouzeau family since 1846, however it wasn't until 1980 that vines were planted, and subsequently converted to organics in 1999. A delightfully fresh, approachable, and organically crafted expression of 100% Cabernet Franc. It bursts with fresh red fruits - chiefly wild raspberry, strawberry, and redcurrant—intermingled with classic Loire notes of violets and a touch of white pepper.
