Pull the knife through 3–5 times. Ceramic Slot – Fine sharpening to refine the cutting edge. Pull the knife through 2–3 times. Ceramic Slot – Polishing for a smooth, sharp finish. Pull the knife through 1–2 times. Always pull the knife in one direction, from the base to the tip, using moderate pressure. Do NOT push and pull the knife back and forth, as this may damage both the blade and the sharpener. Keep away from open flames. Do not use in a microwave oven.
