Matched Pair TIP2955 (PNP) + TIP3055 (NPN) Power Transistors
The TIP2955/TIP3055 Vbe-matched pair are complementary power PNP/NPN bipolar transistors rated for 60V and 15A, making them well-suited for high-power linear and low-frequency switching applications, including audio power amplifier output stages. In push-pull amplifier output stages, unmatched NPN/PNP pairs can cause crossover distortion, uneven current sharing, and quiescent-current drift — this is why we test and match each pair before selling. Vbe matched: 0.62V ±3mV (measured on Peak DCA75).
