Every step brings the quiet crunch of brittle fungus, the wet drip of distant water, and the occasional whisper of spores shaken loose into the air. The ground rises and falls unpredictably, forming ledges, hollows, and steep slopes that break your line of sight and leave parts of each cavern hidden from view.
