This is the epitome of classic Maine style. The Read boat shoe is the perfect summer shoe. Not only do they look great with a pair of chinos or shorts, but they perform just as a boat shoe should. The Roughman Chocolate Leather is highly water resistant and incredibly durable, and we've kept it unlined so you can wear them without socks. The non-marking rubber boat soles have siping which makes them stick like glue to slippery surfaces. A pair of chestnut leather laces wraps around the heel to provide an extra snug fit. Each pair is handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine USA using our Genuine Handsewn Moccasin construction.
