The digital DV1 Basecoat, supplied as the gun alone for painters who already have cups.What the digital version adds is a gauge built into the gun handle reading actual inlet pressure at the gun, not at the wall. That matters more than it sounds: hose length, couplers and a busy compressor all drop pressure between the regulator and the gun, and guessing at it is where a lot of finish problems start. Set it once, read it, and every job after that is repeatable.Underneath it is the same basecoat gun — redesigned airflow, even fan, light in the hand, and happy with waterborne and solvent colour alike.Gun only. No cup supplied — order a DV1 cup separately if you need one.Choosing your fluid tip and air capAs a rule of thumb: 1.1–1.2mm for light metallic colour, 1.3mm as the all-round bodyshop choice, 1.4mm and above for heavier basecoat and sealer.
