Pasadena Scrap Quilt Class - Uses layer cakes or jelly rolls! Make a scrap quilt that looks like you spent a ton of time piecing little squares together…but you didn’t! Strip-piece a 16-patch block in no time with this fast and fun method! Use a layer cake (or jelly roll) to make your scrap quilt in coordinating fabrics. One layer cake (or jelly roll) will make a 48 x 56 inch lap quilt. Make it bigger with optional borders. Dates and Time: Saturday, September 26th and October 3rd Class fee: $50 (includes lunch) Requirements: Pasadena pattern and a layer cake purchased at The Sewing Gallery. To do before class: Cut each of your 10” squares or jelly strips into (4) 2 ½” x 10” strips. Bring to class: Your strips Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies Cutting tools 10 ½” or 12 ½” square ruler. Optional: 2 ½ x 12 ½” ruler (if you are using 2 ½” strips) or a Stripology ruler (if you are using 10” squares).
