Her grandpa Sonny owned a bakery in New York’s Little Italy and her mother had a successful hair salon before starting her own bakery business. Growing up in an Italian family, Alex realized early on that her love language is food and gift giving. That ethos has driven the mission of her brand PiccoliNY, which launched in 2011.
