MindScribe is a genuine nappa-leather wallet with a hidden 4-inch colour display inside. A spectator only thinks of a card, a number, a word — you open your everyday wallet, and the exact thought is already there, in colour, waiting. The screen is colour e-paper: it draws its image once and then holds it with no power at all, so the reveal is loaded and ready long before the moment ever arrives. There is nothing to switch on and nothing to time. To the room, it is simply the wallet you carry every day.
