Sizing: Most people will be most comfortable with a size 10 rope. Youth ropers and adults with small hands (small or extra small glove size) generally prefer a 9.5. From the manufacturer: All of our tie-down ropes are treated in our special blend of oils to bring out each rope’s peak performance. Our Black Label Uoza Poly is the original, leaded-core poly. Traditionally, each individual strand of Uoza poly rope had a lead core, both in the 3 strand as well as the 4 strand ropes. However, now some larger sizes may have only two leads such as the 4 strand tan, and some smaller sizes may only have 2 strands, such as the 8.75mm 4 strand gold. This has changed to allow for a more uniform weighting of the rope. The original Uoza poly rope had a yellow, weighted, Enerl core, but this style has not been produced for over 15 years.
