The HLSS adjustable outer tie rod set provides the additional steering-linkage length needed for lowered and modified 1996–2001 Toyota Chaser / Mark II / Cresta JZX100 & GX100 applications. Extended lower control arms and other front suspension modifications can move the spindle farther from the steering rack, requiring a longer outer tie rod to achieve proper toe adjustment. These adjustable outer tie rods use replaceable 5/8-inch rod ends for serviceability and are available in multiple lengths to accommodate different suspension setups.
