Hyphessobrycon Peugeoti 3-4cm
Hyphessobrycon peugeoti, commonly known as the Peugot's tetra, is a small wild-caught freshwater fish prized for its subtle elegance and peaceful temperament. These 3-4cm specimens display delicate coloration with a silvery body and distinctive markings that develop with maturity. Wild-caught fish acclimate well to established aquariums with gentle water flow and moderate lighting. They thrive in groups of 6 or more, creating natural schooling behavior. Ideal water parameters include slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0), temperatures between 24-27°C, and soft to moderately hard water. Feed high-quality micro pellets, small flakes, or live foods like daphnia and microworms. These tetras are compatible with other peaceful community fish and planted tanks. Provide plenty of vegetation and hiding spaces to reduce stress and encourage natural behaviors. Each fish is individually selected for health and vitality. Acclimation to your aquarium should be gradual using the drip method over 1-2 hours to ensure a smooth transition.
