Sterling silver wire wound into a ring and inscribed with lyrical text — a reflection of Klaus Lohmeyer's background in music and his practice of embedding personal references into metalwork. Forged in the Munich workshop, the wound wire construction is overlaid with hand-engraved lettering.The text follows the wire's winding path, legible only in fragments as the eye traces around the band. Oxidisation darkens both the engraved characters and the recesses between wound wire layers, creating a surface that rewards close inspection.The combination of text and wound wire gives this ring unusual visual density.
