Limited Edition Harrisons Deep Blue Moonbeam Sports Coat

Crafted from a final length of Harrisons Moonbeam cloth, now discontinued, this deep blue windowpane sports coat is a particularly special addition to our limited collection. It is a cloth held in especially high regard by our Head Cutter, Mr Tom Mahon, who wears this very design himself. Indeed, it is one of his absolute favourites: a telling endorsement from a man who has spent a lifetime around fine cloth. The rich blue ground is lifted by a bold yet tasteful overcheck, combining brighter blue with a subtle warmth that gives the cloth real depth and distinction. It is a sports coat with presence, certainly, but never excess, elegant enough to wear with a shirt and tie, yet equally at home with flannels, corduroys or denim. There is a confidence to it that feels unmistakably British: refined, versatile and full of character. Cut in our signature house style, the coat features a 3-roll-2 front, straight flapped pockets, side vents and a working lapel hole with flower loop detail. As you would expect from Redmayne, it is fully canvassed with a lightweight structure, designed to mould naturally to the wearer over time. The result is a soft drape and clean silhouette, equally suited to an informal meeting, a weekend engagement or dinner in town. This is not a cloth we can replace. Once the limited number of coats available from this final length have been commissioned, there will be no more.
