S2S Pau Ferro / Morado

Pau ferro is a wood of many names, and is sometimes called Morado—and because the wood is so similar in appearance and working properties to rosewood, it is also sometimes referred to as Bolivian or Santos rosewood. Janka Hardness: 1,960 lb/f Workability: Pau ferro is considered overall to be of fair workability. Pau ferro turns and finishes well. What can you expect from S2S Lumber? S2S Lumber (Surfaced two Sides) is sent through our planer, skimmed on two sides to show grain and colour with the edges left rough. Thickness will be around 3/16” less than nominal thickness due to the planing process. If rough stock is preferred please leave a comment on checkout.
