Tara Treasures Large Arctic Antarctic Polar Play Mat Playscape

The large Polar Arctic or Antarctic playscape is a wintry wonderland designed to spark imaginative small world play. Featuring an ice-covered shoreline, scattered sea floes, a polynya (open water hole), and a snow cave for animal figurines to shelter in, this playscape brings the frozen beauty of the polar regions to life. Whether it's penguins waddling across the ice, polar bears peeking from the cave, or seals diving into the icy waters, children can immerse themselves in the magic of the poles. The cool tones and textured landscape provide a tactile and visually captivating environment for storytelling and exploration. Thoughtfully designed in Melbourne and ethically handmade by women artisans in Nepal using New Zealand wool and non-toxic dyes, this playscape is perfect for educational settings or home playrooms. It’s an inspiring backdrop for polar adventures and a gateway to learning about life in the world’s coldest habitats. Please note that all wooden toys and books shown are not included with the play mat and are used for illustrative purposes only.
