De La Fere Vest Kit by Melanie Rountree
The lovely Melanie Rountree of Rountree Stitchery adds a little The Three Muskateers-pizazz to layering season with her gorgeous De La Fere Vest! The De La Fere Vest features a stunning geometric lattice design, topped off with two-coloured ribbing for the neckline, hem and armhole ribbing. It's worked all in the round from the bottom up with a bit of cheeky steeking for the armholes and neck opening - perfect if you've never dabbled in steeking before! And if you're not interested in steeking, the pattern also includes instructions on how to work the front and back panels flat. Melanie used our Harvest Hues 4ply in Blackthorn and Russet for her sample, and with the jewel tones of that range, the colour options are endless. We've added kits for this vest to the website in some of our favourite combinations! You're more than welcome to leave us a note if you'd like to change a colour for another one!
