Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen'

Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen' Krimson Queen Hoya is a beautiful trailing houseplant prized for its waxy green leaves edged in creamy white and eye-catching bright pink new growth. Its long, twining vines create a colorful cascading display, making it especially attractive in hanging baskets, on shelves, or trained to climb a small trellis. As plants mature, they may produce clusters of waxy, pale pink, star-shaped flowers with a sweet fragrance that is often strongest at night. Hoyas can rebloom from the same flower spurs year after year, so never remove the spent flowers. With its colorful foliage, trailing habit, and unique blooms, Krimson Queen is a rewarding addition to any houseplant collection. Let the soil dry thoroughly between waterings, and use a loose, well-draining potting mix. Krimson Queen generally prefers being somewhat snug in its pot, so avoid unnecessary repotting. Once flower buds form, avoid moving or disturbing the plant. After flowering, do not remove the flower spurs, as future blooms can develop from the same structures. With creamy variegation, bright pink new growth, and clusters of fragrant star-shaped flowers, Krimson Queen Hoya offers something beautiful in every stage of growth.
