Nineteen players who wore the Harfangs sweater went on to play professionally at hockey's highest level. Alain Vigneault, who later built a long career as a head coach at that level, guided Beauport for its final two seasons and led the club to its only appearance in the league final in 1995–96, where the Harfangs fell to the Granby Prédateurs. In 1997, after seven seasons in Beauport, the franchise relocated to Quebec City, ending the Harfangs' run under that name.
