Shock a unit to force every coin from it into its owner's discard pile, interrupting their plans without resolving a standard attack. New Units, New Tactics: Command the Rearguard, Pitch Thrower, Raider, and War Drummer, each bringing new movement, positioning, control, and bag-management possibilities to your army. Change How Your Army Plays: Three alternate Unit cards let you use existing Lancer, Marshall, and Footman coins in new ways. Experiment with different army configurations and find new strengths in familiar units. Strategic Battles with a Twist: Designed by Trevor Benjamin and David Thompson for 2 or 4 players ages 14 and up, War Chest battles take about 30–60 minutes. Shock Tactics adds new tactical decisions while keeping the streamlined gameplay that makes War Chest easy to get into and challenging to master.
