Vintage African Carved Tribal Drum with Animal-Hide Head

A hand‑carved African‑style tribal drum with cylindrical wooden body, intricate geometric carving and stylised human and animal figures. The drum has an animal‑hide head with natural hair trim, an integral carved side handle and three carved supports that incorporate a mask face. This is a useful decorative object for home display or ethnographic collections; playing condition has not been tested. Dimensions Width: 22 cm Depth: 22 cm Height: 62 cm Condition Fair to good decorative condition consistent with age and use. The dark finish shows scratches, chips and wear across the carved surface, particularly on raised edges and carving details. The animal‑hide drumhead is worn and discoloured with small holes and deterioration around the rim; the hair trim is intact though aged. Structure and carved supports appear sound; playing condition untested. Delivery Information Please note that all of our deliveries are carried out by a one-man delivery service.
