Installation essentials UK Connections and the Required Fittings Are Supplied The manual lists the hot, cold and filtered-water hoses, mounting components and connector options needed for a standard installation. 01 Prepare the tap Attach the filtered-water hose, threaded shank and selected push-fit adapter. 02 Fit through the hole Pass the tap through the sink or worktop and position the base seal correctly. 03 Secure underneath Fit the rubber gasket, metal washer and lock nut, then tighten the fixing screws. 04 Connect and test Connect hot, cold and filtered water, then check every joint while dispensing. Flush construction debris, sand and silt from the isolation valves and pipework before connecting the tap. Debris can obstruct the valve cartridges or aerator. No. The filtered-water supply travels through its own internal channel and remains separate from the standard hot and cold water. Does the Hommix Como include a water filter? No. This listing is for the tap and its installation fittings. A compatible under-sink filter or reverse-osmosis system is sold separately. Is the tap suitable for a gravity-fed water system? No. Hommix states that its 3 way taps are not suitable for gravity-fed systems. The minimum operating pressure is 0.5 bar. Which filtered-water connection sizes are supplied? Both ¼-inch and ⅜-inch push-fit adapter options are supplied. Confirm the outlet size used by your chosen filtration system before fitting. What water pressure does the Como require? The stated operating range is 0.5 to 11.5 bar. Hommix recommends installing a pressure reducer where the supply pressure exceeds 4 bar. Can the tap be used with a double-bowl sink? Yes.
