Once programmed, you can use the supplied Remote Start Key Fob to start your engine remotely. No laptops, additional programming software or complicated setup required. Easy to Use Switch the vehicle ignition ON. Plug the OBD Programmer into the vehicle's OBD port. The programmer automatically identifies your vehicle, backs up its current configuration and applies the changes. Wait until the LED turns solid green, indicating programming is complete. Remove the OBD Programmer. Your remote start feature is now enabled. Follow included instructions to program the new remote start key fob. The instrument cluster and screen may restart during programming. This is completely normal. Restore Anytime During the first programming session, the OBD Programmer securely stores the vehicle's original configuration, allowing the vehicle to be restored to its previous settings at any time.
