Cobblestones and Laneways — Yarn Bundle Designed by Helen Stewart of Curious Handmade, in collaboration with La Bien Aimée Cobblestones and Laneways is the sixth and final shawl from The Shawl Society 6: Field Notes from London, and its story starts in Paris. Designer Helen Stewart first visited Aimée's little shop years ago — "a perfect jewel-box of colour," as she describes it — and later saw the other side of it: the studio itself, pots simmering, skeins drying in long hanging rows. Knit in La Bien Aimée's Corrie Worsted, this texture-heavy design uses four colors. About the yarn Corrie Worsted is a blend of Falkland Corriedale and Gotland wool — soft, gorgeous, and it blooms beautifully when wet blocked without growing out of shape.
