Wes Audio ngTubeEQ Stereo Tube Equaliser with Digital Recall The Wes Audio ngTubeEQ is a 3U two-channel analogue equaliser that combines a passive, inductor-based EQ section and an optional valve output stage with full digital recall and DAW automation. Four passive bands cover 22Hz to 28kHz, and every setting can be saved, recalled and automated from a plugin or stored on the unit itself, bringing the character of a classic tube EQ into a modern hybrid studio. Two output paths let you choose the flavour. The GREEN stage is electronically balanced for a clean, punchy result, while the RED stage routes the signal through a valve amplifier and Carnhill output transformers, with an IRON PAD so you can drive them harder without raising the output level. Dual, stereo and Mid/Side modes, switchable proportional or constant Q, and active high- and low-pass filters make it suitable for tracking, mix bus and mastering work alike. Two gain ranges: ±5dB in roughly 0.1dB steps for fine moves, or ±15dB in roughly 0.25dB steps for bigger changes. Active filters: Variable high- and low-pass filters with 12 or 24dB/octave slopes, fully bypassable in the analogue domain. Selectable output stage: GREEN electronically balanced output, or RED valve stage with Carnhill transformer output and IRON PAD. Variable THD: Relay-bypassable harmonic distortion circuit with 100 steps of control for inductor-based saturation. Dual, stereo and Mid/Side: Three operating modes for independent channels, linked stereo or separate mid and side processing. Band Listen mode: Uses the filters to isolate the content around a band so you can hear exactly what you are adjusting. Recall and presets: Plugin control with an unlimited preset library, 100 internal presets on the unit, A/B/C buttons on the front panel and an LCD display for parameters and metering.
