Ampersand Aureus is a cask-strength Colorado straight bourbon whiskey crafted by master distiller Chip Tate from whiskey sourced from the now-silent Peach Street Distilling. It is finished for 18 months in hand-selected Spanish Vino de Naranja (orange wine) casks, bringing a distinctive layer of citrus and depth to its bourbon character. Expect aromas of wildflower honey, dried cherries, salted brown butter, and oak, followed by blood orange marmalade, graham cracker, and dark chocolate. The finish carries wine-poached fruit, warm bread, and vanilla.
