S-828 (4' x 5'10')

S-828 is a softly layered neutral with a beautifully distressed, painterly character. Hand-painted in our Brooklyn studio, its warm gray ground is layered with subtle stone, taupe, and smoky undertones, creating an organically weathered surface with gentle movement and depth. Measuring 4' x 5'10", its smaller scale makes it a beautiful choice for portraits, still life, product photography, beauty, and tabletop work. The distressed tonal variation gives the surface character and dimension while remaining subtle enough to keep the focus on the subject. Like every Oliphant backdrop, S-828 is painted entirely by hand. Variations in tone, texture, and brushwork are integral to its character, giving the backdrop the richness and individuality of an original painted surface.
