Electric Start Kit 65cc Plug & Play • Race-Ready Designed for riders who want effortless starts without compromising performance, this electric start kit delivers reliable starts for 65cc motocross bikes. With no engine modification required. The system features a sodium battery with manual charging, and when fully charged it can deliver more than 300 starts. The kit includes a charger, and a full charge takes half hour. The latest sodium-ion battery far outperforms lithium batteries in performance. After being discharged to 0 V and left unused for six months, it can recover over 85% of its capacity when recharged, so there is no need to worry about the battery being starved to death. It can also operate normally at -20°C. For ultimate lightweight design, and due to space constraints, we did not equip the SX65 model with an automatic charging system. It requires manual charging. However, there is no need to worry about battery life — one charge can deliver more than 300 starts. At a normal riding level, riders start about 3–5 times per session and only 30–50 times per day. One charge can cover 7 practice days. There is virtually zero impact on engine performance. Engine response remains untouched — while low-end torque and throttle control are improved thanks to the optimized flywheel mass. The system allows starting in gear with the clutch pulled in, ideal for race restarts. The original kick-starter remains fully functional at all times as a backup. An oil-free gear design reduces extra weight and maintenance. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) protects against over-charge, over-discharge, and short-circuit, ensuring long-term reliability for the battery.
