Friedman Bone Rongeur Straight 14cm, End-Cutting Rongeur for Alveolar Bone Trimming and Recontouring
Friedman bone rongeur straight instruments are end-cutting rongeurs used for alveolar bone trimming, sharp bone spicule removal, and ridge recontouring following tooth extraction, alveoloplasty, and oral surgical procedures. The straight 2.4 mm jaw width provides a direct cutting approach to the alveolar crest and socket margins, removing bone in small, controlled increments with each bite. The single-action spring-return mechanism reopens the jaws automatically after each cut, allowing the clinician to work in a consistent rhythm without manually reopening the handles between bites. Overall length is 5.5″ (14 cm). Medical-grade stainless steel, fully autoclavable. For bone trimming only, not for root removal.
