1913 Type 2 Buffalo Nickel - BU Uncirculated with Original Auction Flip

This 1913 Type 2 Buffalo Nickel, graded BU Uncirculated, represents the second design variety of the Buffalo Nickel's debut year, after the original "Raised Ground" Type 1 reverse was quickly redesigned to reduce wear on the FIVE CENTS denomination. James Earle Fraser's iconic design, featuring a Native American profile and an American bison, remains one of the most beloved in U.S. coinage history. This example comes with its original auction flip, adding a layer of provenance and collecting history to the piece. First-year Buffalo Nickels in Uncirculated condition are popular with type collectors and date-and-mint set builders alike. A bright, attractive example of an iconic early 20th-century American design.
