Source: Tank grown Size: Size varies by the selected specimen. For scale, three background grid squares measure slightly under 2". Care level: Moderate Lighting: Moderate to high Water flow: Moderate to strong and indirect Placement: Rockwork with room for encrusting growth This tank-grown Rainbow Montipora features a blue base with polyps ranging from green to yellow, orange, and red. Its encrusting growth creates a colorful covering across rockwork, with contrasting colors often appearing between established tissue and newer growth. Color distribution varies with growth and aquarium conditions. Rainbow Montipora Care Provide moderate to high lighting and varied, indirect water flow that keeps debris from settling on the colony. Acclimate gradually to stronger lighting and maintain stable alkalinity, calcium, and salinity. Leave space around the frag for growth, as it can encrust onto surrounding rockwork and nearby coral bases. Browse more Corals for Sale, including colorful frags and colonies for your reef aquarium.
