Luis Seabra is one of the leading names in Portugal’s new generation of winemakers. After a decade working alongside Dirk Niepoort, he established his own project in 2013, focusing on old vines, indigenous varieties and the distinctive schist and granite soils of the Douro. His wines favour freshness, purity and a strong sense of place over sheer power. Xisto Ilimitado Branco is a fresh, mineral-driven Douro white made from a field blend of traditional varieties, including Rabigato, Codega, Gouveio and Viosinho, grown predominantly on schist soils. Fermented naturally and matured in a mixture of used oak and tank, it combines citrus and orchard fruit with subtle floral notes, saline minerality and a textured, beautifully fresh finish.
