The Athlon Helos BTR GEN2 6-24x56 FFP Riflescope is a first focal plane riflescope particularly well suited to long-range, target and competition shooting. Its 6-24x magnification range, large 56mm objective and 34mm tube provide the optical performance and adjustment capability needed for precision shooting at extended distances. It can also be used for longer-range hunting, although its size, weight and 6x minimum magnification make this model more specialised towards precision shooting than the smaller Helos BTR GEN2 models. Advanced fully multi-coated lenses improve light transmission, brightness and colour reproduction, while Athlon's XPL protective coating helps protect the exterior lenses in demanding conditions. The first focal plane illuminated reticle maintains consistent subtensions throughout the magnification range, with a choice of APLR6 MOA or APRS6 MIL reticles. Exposed locking elevation and windage turrets allow adjustments to be dialled when required and securely locked to help prevent accidental movement, including when moving between stages during competition. Athlon's precision zero stop provides a positive return to your established zero, while side-focus parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity and a high-precision erector system further support accurate long-range use.
