First time on the open market, bought from the family. John Wright was born in Salford, Lancashire in 1877. He enlisted on the 10th September 1915 aged 38 years and 8 months. He served at home to 4th December 1915, France to 1st August 1916, home to 5th October 1916 His MIC shows he landed in France on the 5th December 1915 and confirms his entitlement to a Silver War Badge. SWB no 10366. He was discharged on the 5th October 1916 due to sickness. He died on the 10th October 1916 Condition – GVF+
