1st & 18th Holes, Old Course at St. Andrews Links

Given I did not have access to a drone of some sort of lift for this shoot, I had to get creative with regard to gaining some elevation to photographing the 18th hole. The only way I could see to do that was to get up in the Old Course Hotel. I asked the GM of the restaurant if I could go out on the porch and take some shots which I was politely denied. The only thing to do was keep going up via the staircase....to where I did not know. Finally, at the top of the staircase was a door that lead to the roof....mission accomplished.
