Aromatherapy for Headaches and Migraines CPD
CPD – 6 points (IFPA) / 5 points (FHT) Headaches and migraines are among the most common conditions encountered in clinical practice, affecting quality of life, work, sleep and emotional wellbeing. While some headaches are linked to stress, muscle tension or lifestyle factors, others may be associated with more complex triggers, including hormones, sleep disruption, sinus congestion, diet and environmental influences. This specialist CPD course explores how aromatherapy can be used to support clients experiencing headaches and migraines through a holistic, client-centred approach. By combining an understanding of headache types, trigger identification, essential oil selection and practical treatments, therapists can provide supportive care that complements wider wellbeing strategies. Prerequisite: A qualification in Anatomy and Physiology / An aromatherapy qualification to PPA standards
