Producer: Il Castellaccio Country, Region: Italy, Tuscany Grapes: Sangiovese Type: Red Wine Alcohol: 12% Format: 0,75 lCoste di Felice is Castellaccio's Chianti Classico: 100% Sangiovese from organically farmed vineyards on the two opposite slopes of Monte San Michele, at Lamole and Lucolena, between 500 and 700 metres.The grapes are picked by hand, destemmed and fermented spontaneously in concrete with around 30 days on the skins. The wine then ages for about 12 months in large old 25-hectolitre casks, with no new wood, so the altitude and the fruit do the talking.
