The World Awaits: 24 Stories and Conversations for Advent Season

Every December, there’s a push to take Christ out of Christmas. The world points our kids toward Santa, elves, presents, and shopping, leaving out the real meaning of the season. The World Awaits is a family Advent tradition that gives your family a simple nightly activity that puts the focus back on Jesus every single night throughout December. What’s included: An anthology of 24 beautifully illustrated short stories, one for each night from December 1 through Christmas Eve. Each fictionalized story is told through the eyes of someone who was there, or could have been, like the shepherds, the wise men, and the animals in the stable, and the countdown ends with the real account from Luke. Family conversation cards, one for every night, with thoughtful questions on love, joy, hope, forgiveness, and gratitude that get everyone talking. A Christ-Centered Family Tradition: Put Christ back in Christmas. Unlike Advent calendars that count down with chocolate or toys, The World Awaits keeps your family’s focus on Jesus all month long. Quality time together. Every night is a reason to put down the phones and connect as a family. Character-building values. Each conversation helps your kids grow in the Christian values that shape who they become. Fits a busy season. About ten minutes a night fits even the most packed December evening. Grounded in Scripture. The whole countdown points to the true story of Jesus’ birth. A tradition, not a toy. Most gifts are forgotten by January. This one is designed to come out every December and become a family tradition. Get yours before December 1st, so your family doesn't miss a single night.
