Antique Chinese 18thC Style Qianlong Qing Dynasty Blue White Porcelain Bowl 1880

A very attractive antique 19th century Qianlong style Chinese Qing Dynasty blue & white Porcelain bowl. The bowl is finely decorated with under-glazed blue and having a solid blue band and continuous intertwining lotus or floral scrolls (known as chanzhi); symbolizing longevity. The body of the bowl with floral and scrolling vine decoration, while the tapered lower section near the unglazed foot rim is detailed with upright petal panels or vertical lappets. The base with an apocryphal honorific six character Qianlong mark, the bowl however dates to the late 19th century part of the Qing dynasty, circa 1880. This specific design borrows heavily from classic early Ming Dynasty aesthetics (specifically the Yongle and Xuande periods), characterized by deep cobalt blue brushwork and dense floral compositions.
