Cosmic Horror Monthly #71 May 2026

CHM is a monthly magazine dedicated to publishing the best cosmic horror and weird fiction short stories. We publish a new collection every month in print and digital formats. It’s Jolie’s birthday issue, and the theme this year is weird fables, folktales, and legends! Doing the weird this way is hard, because the broadest, top-level definition of “weird” is speculative elements that do not appear in the folklore register, but the stories in this issue accomplish their goals spectacularly.
