Morning at Good Harbor

I photographed this image at Good Harbor beach in Gloucester, MA, on a calm and peaceful April morning. The light was my favorite kind; sunlight filtered through thin, high clouds, creating a soft glow and beautiful glitter on the horizon. There were a few eiders a short distance from the shore, and as I was standing there, composing my image of them, a seagull came gliding by just above the surface of the water, and added the perfect final touch! PRINT DETAILS The image is printed on matte archival cotton rag fine art paper with a 0.5” - 2” white border (depending on image size) and is signed on the border below the image. Print sizes refer to the total paper size, including the border (e.g., a 36x36-inch print has a 33x33-inch image with 1.5-inch borders). The prints are available unframed or framed, and every order is professionally custom printed. FRAMED ART Framed prints come in a black, white, or natural wood frame with or without a white cotton rag mat. The frames are handmade in the US from top-quality hardwoods and all archival materials. They are custom made to order, with beautiful spline joints and 99% UV-filtering acrylic glass. Depending on print size, the frames have a 1/2" - 1" face and 1 1/2" - 2 1/4" depth. Smaller frames are fitted with D-rings and a wire for hanging; large frames (24x24 inches and up) have a French cleat hanging system. Framed prints are currently only available in the US and Australia. All Australian orders are printed, framed, and shipped from my lab in Adelaide. The frames at my lab in Australia are also made locally by hand from top quality materials, but some of the details are a bit different from the US frames - please contact me for more information. FRAMED ART SIZES The sizes listed are print sizes; mats and frames will add to the final size. For example, the outside dimensions of a framed 36x36-inch print with a 3.5-inch mat is 44x44 inches. Please see the image with the picture frame sizes chart, or the FAQs for all other framed dimensions. SHIPPING INFORMATION & TURNAROUND TIMES Shipping is free in the contiguous United States. Unframed prints are rolled in a plastic sleeve, placed inside a sturdy shipping tube, and normally delivered within 10 business days of your order. Framed prints are carefully wrapped and boxed and shipped via FedEx or UPS. Large and oversized framed prints are crated and shipped via freight. Framed prints typically have a turnaround time of 3-4 weeks. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS Unframed prints are available in the contiguous US, Canada, Australia, EU, and UK, and are produced and shipped by my local partner lab in each country.
