Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps are made from food safe material so can be used on baked goods and sugar art as well but please don't use the same set of stamps for crafts and edible arts. Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps need to be conditioned before use to allow them to give a cleaner impression on your project: 1. Remove the acrylic sheet that is attached to the stamping side of the design but leave the stamps attached to their backing sheet. 2. Using fine grit sanding paper or a sanding block gently scuff the surface of your stamps. 3. Lightly sand in one direction and then turn the stamp through 90 degrees and gently sand in the other direction. Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps can be used with the backing left on where each design is cut out separately or they can be removed from their backing and placed onto an Iron Orchid Designs Flexible Grid Mount Sheet for easy positioning and placement on your flat projects. The stamps can also be used without their backing around curved and/or irregular surfaces.
