Biography Hiroshima Koho (1889-1951) Born in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture. Japanese-style painter. His real name was Shintaro and his other name was Kojin. He graduated from the Japanese Painting Department of Tokyo Fine Arts School. While a student, he also studied Western painting at the Hakuba-kai Institute. In 1916, he co-founded the Japan Print Club with Hasegawa Kiyoshi and Nagase Yoshiro. He received Special Selection awards at the first and second Teiten exhibitions. He later played an active role in the Teiten, Shin-Bunten, and Nitten exhibitions. He also served as a juror for the Teiten and Shin-Bunten exhibitions.
