Remploy Distressed White Painted Two Tier Side Table - Coffee Table

Description A classic mid-century two-tier side table manufactured by the well-known British brand Remploy. Featuring a square top with stepped, rounded edges and a lower tier shelf, this versatile piece provides excellent storage and surface space for a living room, hallway, or bedside. The table has been roughly finished in a white paint coat that has been rubbed back and distressed to give it a weathered, rustic aesthetic. It retains its original circular Remploy manufacturer stamp on the raw wood underside, guaranteeing its mid-century British build quality. Condition The table is in solid structural condition but exhibits a heavily weathered and roughly painted appearance from previous upcycling: The white painted surface is roughly applied and has been intentionally distressed on the corners, edges, and legs, exposing the darker timber underneath. The square tabletop shows numerous signs of domestic wear, including ring marks, light cup stains, superficial surface scratches, and tiny historic paint specks. The lower shelf shows general scuffing and historic use marks across its painted surface. Despite the heavily weathered cosmetic finish, the frame remains stable, robust, and completely free from any loose joints.
