Hidasuki Bizen-yaki Teacup - 250ml

This Bizen-yaki yunomi (teacup) is made from a light-coloured clay that contrasts with the scarlet red hidasuki stripes. The cup has a slightly wider shape than the classic cylinder, with gentle, organic curves. This cup was designed by 19th-generation potter Mori Toshiaki for the Genso line and was made by potters of the Mori family. It comes in a kiribako (桐箱 - paulownia wooden box) signed by the klin. Due to the organic and random nature of hand-potting and straw-wrapping, each piece is unique.
