Made from 100 percent natural sheep’s wool and woven using traditional loom techniques, the rug measures 150 x 200cm and features a highly unusual design rarely seen in Moroccan rugs. The rug has a short, dense wool pile which gives it a smooth surface while still retaining the warmth and texture associated with Berber wool. The design uses rich red tones with intricate smaller patterns that appear to shimmer across sections of the rug.
