Coralline Crag and Porcelain Vases

Steven James Will's crag-infused porcelain vases appear like fossilised treasures excavated from our coastal landscape. Made from porcelain and a Coralline crag mixture, Steven has thrown a collection of vases for us, weaving our rich local heritage into each unique piece. The Crag Collection Coralline Crag is a geological formation native to the Suffolk coastline containing marine deposits from the North Sea that formed millions of years ago. The crag melts and bursts out of the clay vases in streaks and bubbles when fired, leaving a unique texture and pattern which speaks of the rugged Suffolk coastline.
